A Season One Fifteenth Doctor fan art piece in the style of Lee Binding’s work for Doctor Who: The Collection.
It was hard deciding what outfit to use, and therefore what episode to represent on this season’s artwork. Ncuti Gatwa wears a different outfit in every episode, though the brown leather coat appears in The Church on Ruby Road, Space Babies, and The Empire of Death, and all the marketing for this season. I first wanted to represent either Boom or Rogue, as those are my favourite episodes from the season, but I ultimately felt neither outfit could represent the season as a whole. Had I went with Rogue, Rogue’s ring from the episode would have been what the Doctor held on this piece.
